NTSA Match info

2025 NTSA VFS Match Info

Matches will be held on the 3rd Sat of March (3/15), May (5/17), and Aug (8/16). Lunch will not be provided. Information will be posted on Accurate Shooter under the “Competition” forum including last minute weather cancelations and end of match results.

Draw for bench assignment at 7:00 am and match starts at 9:00 am.
We will be running 2 relays, so plan on sharing a bench. If you have a bench partner, 1 person should draw for the both of you.

Format will be VFS 100/200 (not necessarily in that order).

This is a club match but will be ran similar to an NBRSA sanctioned match with one 10 min match followed by four 7 min matches. 

Wind flags are allowed.

Shooters will be responsible for hanging their own targets. The officials will score, log, and post the targets on the wailing wall.

Classes will be:

Hunter Class: legal 10 pound Hunter Benchrest rifles with 6x power scope

VFS Class: Legal VFS 13.5 rifles with unlimited scope power

Unlimited: All other rifles (no bigger than 308) that are legal to shoot at the range, unlimited scope power.

Cost is $25 (which includes both yardages)

In order to get both yardages completed in 1 day with plenty of time for folks to travel back home at a decent hour, we need to have a couple of volunteers to help with match responsibilities. Let me know if you would like to help. 

NTSA LOCATION:

 From Dallas travel North on I-35 through Denton and exit Milam Rd. (exit #473). Travel East on Milam Rd. approximately 1.4 miles to Trietch Rd. and turn North on Trietch Rd..  Continue approximately 1.5 miles to Rector Rd. (T-intersection) and turn East on Rector Rd..  The club entrance is approximately .5 miles ahead on the right side, just after a sharp left-hand turn.
